Inspiration

The name Eugene given to our passport case refers to Pushkin's work “Onegin” and the prophetic duel for the author. Eugene also refers to the hero of another work by the writer: the Bronze Horseman, one of the masterpieces of Russian poetry. A declaration of love for the city, he describes in turn the city's monuments and palaces, passing by the banks of the Neva. Double journey, double hero, double passion are immortalized through a two-tone creation highlighted by wood marquetry on the reverse.
